Everytime a player is rumored to be coming to Miami and it fails it seems like the perception of this organization gets worse and worse.

Peter King killed us today in MMQB, some of his arguments are valid but aren't relativent to today others.

Michael Wilbon crushed Miami today, and not just the organization but called our Stadium Garbage? Really, Really?

I know that Peter King's criticizms and analogies are not true because this team is far better talent wise, draft pick wise, and salary cap wise then it has been in years and it's a young team.

I don't know if Clark's (steelers saftey) view on Ireland is the perception or the rule all I know is that it feels like the guy is making the smart tough decisions that will keep this team competitive long term.

I don't know what the heck I'm talking about, I just know that after watching Wilbon on PTI, my blood pressure rose and I had to go for a run to get my mind straight.

Big Picture right?

Parcells is pulling the strings. Just grin and bear it. It's gonna stay like this until we win a playoff game or Ireland is gone.

I think Clark's opinion of Ireland around the league must be true. Consider we got shafted by two great coaches, a great QB, a decent CB, & a starting FS we're still searching for. His comments to Dez Bryant about his mother are truly proof of how unprofessional this guy is. We have a bad combination at owner & GM.

Really? Please explain to me how you figure these statements to be truths....maybe I'll feel better.....smh

Ireland is the last turd from the Parcells regime. Ross would look a lot better without Ireland on his coat tail.
A new GM could redefine the franchise. Poor Philbin, I wonder how this mess has got him thinking?

you are wrong. the city of miami is garbage as a fan base and has been for a long long time before ireland ever put a pair of man pants on. people have known this forever.

When I go to a Bills game and the Bills suck worse then us and yet the 50,000 fans still make a lot of noise as if the stadium were full, those are true fans. I always think to myself, Miami will never ever have that ever again.

a new GM isnt going to change anything. Its still crap in Miami any way you slice it.

The team currently under roster is less talented than the team that went 6-10 last season.

People with an outside perspective see just how screwy our team is. People are fooling themselves if they think players fleeing Miami happens in a vacuum. They talk to each other, talk to coaches, talk to agents, watch Sportscenter, read Sports Illustrated. They are fans of the game as much as we are, they just happen to know alot about what happens behind the scenes.

So when a player hears about the Dez Bryant incident, the Jim Harbaugh debacle, Jeff Fisher refusal, Ryan Clarks and Matt Flynns comments, and how Jon Gruden and Bill Cowher flat refused to even negotiate for the head coaching job.....well, it explains why Peyton Manning refused to fly down here and talk to our front office.

I agree, Ross needs to fire Ireland and hire a VP of fball operations to look for a new GM

We didn't get shafted by 2 great coaches. Harbaugh wanted to stay in California and did so. He would have said no to a bunch of other teams that you think have a better front office. Fisher wanted full control and $8 million a year. If we would have given him what he wanted, he would have been the head coach of Miami instead of the Rams.

Who knows for sure why Manning said no to us. There could be many reasons. New head coach with a different system than what he wanted to run. Doesn't want to compete in the AFC East. Ect... He said no to SF, Tenn, AZ, NYJ, KC, Sea Ect... Where are the stories about how poorly those teams are ran since Manning didn't choose to sign with them. We said no to Flynn not the other way around. As for Clark, I think he is jumping on the bandwagon. Free agents who visit teams decide to sign elsewhere all the time. I personally don't think he ever wanted to leave Pitt and was using the Dolphins for leverage. If he had an issue with the front office he sure didn't tell his agent. After his visit his agent said:

"This is no indictment in any way of the Dolphins organization," Turner said. "He just didn’t want to be there. Those guys were great. They treated him great, showed him a good time. They’re going to be successful with him or without him. He just felt he needed to be somewhere else."
"[Clark's family] is happy. I would hope anybody with a family could understand that. Anybody who doesn’t have a family and can’t understand that, I hope someday they will."

The Dez Bryant question is unprofessional, but we don't really know how that went down. If Dez said my dad is a pimp, and said my mom works for my dad, wouldn't asking him if his mom was a prostitute be the next logical question?
