U cry about the $$$, we do the dirtywork
It looked tio me like the reported used sparanos quotes to support his agenda of the article. He left out the pat where sparano says you cant reall draft someone just for a packe your not going to use that often.
Wait, why do we need more personnel for the Wildcat?
Anyone who thinks were not going to try and have a more traditional running game in 2009 is out of their mind.
We should be busting out Wildcat plays when its least expected next year, not on a regular basis.
The only thing the WC needed was better interior OL play. (which is why we needed it in the first place)
Anyone who thinks this regime is going to draft Patt White to expand on the WC playbook knows NOTHING about the NFL.
And in conclusion I'd like to add the only reason the WC worked for us is because our personnel for it was always already on the field. Ronnie Brown was always on the field, Patt White and any other potential WC draftee would need to be subbed into the game. Guess what happens when you sub someone like that in? The defense does the same. Something they couldn't do with Ronnie on the field cause they didn't know where he'd line up.
Its just oustounding to me that people think were going to draft for the WC.
We haven't even scratched the surface of Ted Ginn's potential yet and we want more?

I think the "Wildcat" was just kind of a temporary thing to hide our many weaknesses on offense. I dont think that the Trifecta will use it much next season, they will use it but I dont think they will go scouring the earth for "Wildcat" players. I think Ronnie just fit the mold, along with Ricky and they decided it would give opposing teams headaches, and make it difficult to plan for our real offense. I definitely may be wrong but this is my opinion.
