dumb jets fan ronnie runs the ball 85% of the time outta that formation.. So whats trickery 2 fake punts thats trickery.. Jets talked so much smack on our local dolphins radio stations for 4 months then we whoop them so shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ... my username says it all :lol:
 
The wildcat is not even trickery, or gimmickery... We line up in that formation, the defense KNOWS it is coming, they just cant stop it and thats what pisses people off which leads to the whole "gimmick" and "trickery" excuse
 
Ya those Jets fans are pretty bad. They say stupid **** like "its so boring", "its a high school formation", or my favorite "Get some guts Miami and play football". It really is pathetic what a Jets fan will say after they lose. I mean, get some guts and play football?! We go in there without a QB and cram the ball down your throat! You know whats coming and you still get punched in the mouth! It doesn't get anymore gutsy than that!
 
It's not trick no more than a play action pass is. They know who is getting the ball. Screw the Jets and their fans.

i really think you guys need to find something else to complain about. not too many jets fans are talking down about the wildcat after the win. i mean seriously...you guys won, it's been almost a week and you're still complaining that there are a few jets fans that don't like the wildcat.....meanwhile most of us are hoping rex can scheme a way to stop it in 2 weeks. time to move on guys.

Wilcat is not trickery - the wildcat is voodoo and black magic..., and like in Caddyshack gophers pop up all over the field tripping up opposing players... Secrets are all out of the bag...

no...they're not lookin past the bills. rex's pressers have shown that he learned a valuable lesson from his defense being embarassed. the players have admitted they are embarassed by their performance as well. sometimes you need to be brought back down to realize you weren't as high as you thought you were. they were too into themselves, imo. sometimes people need to be punched in the mouth.

no...the wildcat definitely can capitalize on an over aggressive defense. they start shooting the wrong gaps.....etc etc. making them tentative, which isn't good either.

Hopefully our Defense is equally embarrassed and realizes that our Henne-lead high scoring offense can't always bail them out too.

the wildcat itself is pretty one-dimensional...yes. your offense on monday wasn't one dimensional though. i really wish penny was still your qb....he limits a teams offense alot.
 
One deminsional? You guys are kidding right? There is only about two dozen different things that can come out of it. Who is getting the ball? Ronnie? Ricky?Will Ronnie run off tackle or break it outside? Will Ronnie throw it? Will he flip it back to the QB ala flea flicker as we saw twice last year? That is what makes it successful is that you have to count for both backs and the TE and the QB which makes it hard to stack the box. Very diverse.
