I know most of us would prefer we just get Henne a big time reciver and just run a base offence but if this staff decided's to continue with running other packages next year I think running the Wildpat stuff though Thigpen would be much more successful. As far as the original Wildcat I think there is still room to run some plays out of if we are facing certain defenses (D's with a lack of speed on the outside)

WildPen would be nice if Thigpen was FAST.

Theres a difference between elusive and FAST. Thigpen is elusive, not fast like Pat White.

I rather develop Pat White.

Wild Pen looks good. I like having a QB that can complete a pass back there and doesn't look like the tin man who needs oil behind center.

How About None Of The Above

This.

I think the Wildcat has served its purpose. It's time to phase it out in favor of an improved base offense. Run it a couple times per game just to force other teams to devote practice time to it, but its time as the driving force of our offense should sunset.

Henning should go through the playbook and substitute 60% of the Wildcat plays with intermediate passes (15-25 yards) and the rest with runs.

I want the wildcat with Ronnie Brown, but I want less of it. Incorporate it into the offense but don't use it 10-15 times per game.

How About None Of The Above

I said IF the staff decides to still run a "wild" package, of course it would be great to have a good enough base that we no longer need any of the wild stuff. Although I think a taste of wildcat would still be good just to make other defenses use practice time preparing for it. Plus it will keep our defense sharp against it which is good because it's obvious other teams are going to use it even if in a limited basis.

Minimal Wildcat, pass on the rest.

We need to end the Pat White experience. Keep Thigpen as the backup QB and sign a third string to replace White.
