When we go in to play a team on sunday (or monday, or thursday) one of our opponents biggest concerns on defense is stopping our wildcat. the attention the wildcat draws makes the miami dolphins a better team because they are able to excel in other areas on the football field that are not being focused as much on. the injury to ronnie brown will not end the wildcat like some of you believe. the wildcat will be run more than we've ever seen it vs the panthers because the dolphins are going to make a statement. all of the teams we face the remainder of the season will be watching this game and they will see the wildcat in full gear. yes, ronnie was the original triggerman, but we have new one now. his name is ricky williams and the cat is here to stay.

The primary philosophy and reasoning behind the success of the wild cat is to have you're 2 best players, Ronnie and Ricky on the field at the same time. I understand your line of thinking, and perhaps ( and hope ) you are correct, but find your assumption fundamentally flawed.

The wildcat has been successful with just ricky or just ronnie on the field plenty of times.

I see Ricky taking wildcat snaps too.

Seeing as how Ronnie was the triggerman for the Wildcat. I for one do not see Ricky being the one to be triggerman if we do indeed run it. And I do not envision it being run more. If anything you may see it less . I do not forsee Pat White being able to run it as effectively either . As I have alot of schepticism of White right now. For now the wildcat may be dead unless somebody is able to step up.

I think Hilliard is going to be the wildcard though. Just for the simple fact that teams have not seen much of him. And Ricky doesn't really care for the spotlight. Of course this is all just my opinion.

Ricky is probably a better pure runner but he can't run the wildcat the way Ronnie can. Ronnie was always a threat to throw, it's done fellas!

you're right about him running it differently than ronnie, he's going to run it his way. what makes ronnie a bigger threat to throw the ball?

Have you ever seen Ricky throw a football? Ronnie was actually very poised back there for a rb that is too much to expect from Ricky. I'm sorry but as painful as it is to say you will see tomorrow night.

If we have success it will come out of the classic I formation and Henne is going to have to take advantage of 8 men in the box. If he can't do that it's going to be a very long game for us!

have you ever seen ricky throw a ball? quick to rule out the abilities of the players on the team you root for. btw ricky played baseball and i'm pretty was a quarterback in high school so cool your jets. ronnie looked extremely poised, yes, but give ricky a chance. if we have success and win, it will be because we played the same football we had when we won our previous 4 games.

MIA 23 DOLFAN, I will come back to your thread and thank you as many times as Ricky Williams has pass attempts against the Panthers.

I don't think it will be more than about zero.

Well Myles French I never said he would throw the ball in the game, just that he is capable to do so. go learn to read a little better and don't bother coming back to my post.

Way to get your thong in a bunch, I said what I said in a friendly tone.

Without the threat of a pass, RW is no triggerman. But call him whatever you want.

You can have the last word, and your attitude. I'm out.
