imo we will pick wilkerson in the 7th because other teams know we need a center and they are thinking umm if saban will not take this guy because of injuries why should we? maybe saban knows somthing we dont. teams will pass on him for that reason.

:roflmao: :roflmao:

Everyone drafts based on Saban moves huh??? Not only that, but thay know what Saban assumes.

Medical concerns are obviously playing a role. He's 2nd round talent and a ton of C have been drafted over him. At this point, it wouldn't surprise me if was a rookie FA.

could we have the inside track on him if he went undrafted :cooldude:

I really don't think thats why. However, I do believe he will still be their only because of medical concerns and these are usually the picks you fill in holes and not that many teams need centers anymore.

If Saban thinks hes really good he will pick him up. Or he might just hope he goes undrafted

After watching Wilkerson for 4 years, I would have to say that the biggest knock on him is not the "medical", but rather his size and strength. I'm not sure if he can get much bigger. He might be listed at 300 lbs., but he does not seem to take up very much space with his 6'4 frame. Very good technique wise, but needs to greatly improve on his strength. He could not handle to the big (330 lb+) DT's. If he did not get the initial leverage, he could be bull rushed. However, he has quick feet and he can easily pull block on running plays. And he can also deep snap. Good character too.

Brown was gone in the 4th...

Ah missed that. Just got up a little ago and quick scanned the list. However Carter in the 7th would be great if he's still there. I just can't stand not getting competition for McKinney.

Wow I wish we could somehow have an extra pick down here to grab Shazor and Carter/Wilkerson.

Wow.
