I would love to see another Dolphin to be the defensive player of the year this year and I would be thrilled to see Zach earning it...

Also I think its not difficult for him to earn it after being one of the guys with the most tackles over the past 3 years, he should add some sacks to that list to earn the DPOY...

I think this defense will be so talented on the field this year it will be hard for any one player to stick out. I think Channing is gonna have a BIG BIG season, and he may be close to Zach in the tackles dept. This isn't a knock on Zach at all, but this is the type of defense that everyone is gonna do there part. If Zach drops about 30 tackles this season, that doesn't make him any less of a player . . . tho I'm pretty sure u will hear the nonsense like "oh he fell off" . . . some people don't know crap.

I voted for Zach by the way, would love for him to get it.
 
I really want to see zach or jason win it but reason i voted porter and only reason is because it would be hilarious for pitt to get rid of him then become a dpoy for us.

Only one. Lawrence Taylor. He won it his first two years in the league.
 
Zach Thomas doesn't get the recognition to win the award. Even though he is the best MLB in football, the media points to guys like Urlacher and Lewis.

Joey Porter isn't the best linebacker on our team, so that won't happen.

I see no reason why Jason Taylor can't get it again. He is so dominant and I expect it to be either Taylor or Sterroid Merriman.
