Booker's cap number for 2006 is 4 million salary. At that price do you think the Fins will keep him or release him and save 4 mil?

probably release him, especially if welker keeps it up, i think we'll draft a WR

I think it depends on what he does for the rest of the year. He has good hands which is one thing he definetly got goin for him

We'll have plenty of cap room. We'll keep him.

Just a couple of games ago he was our best receiver. I think he will come close to 1,000 yrds this year and will be back. Besides we are already going to be 25 mill under next year why get rid of a dependable wr?

I dont think its fair to say that Welker can be the number two reciever just yet. He is more prone to be a slot reciever in my opinion.

God I hope we keep him. He's prob our BEST WR!

Release him? If you haven't noticed Welker is playing two positions, KR and WR (AS A BACKUP TO CHAMBERS AND BOOKER). Booker has nothing to worry about, Welker is NOT a full time reciever and its too much of a risk of injury to put him as KR and WR.

Besides that fact Booker is a much better reciever than Welker in my book, he makes the LONG catches and can burn defenders, you never see that from Wes even though he is a great WR also, but not near the same ability level of Booker.

That would be one of the biggest mistakes we make if we release Booker, he has been nothing but positive, and draft a WR? Don't get me started...

i know thats what mueller and these guys say, but i think its eventually going to be around 10-15 million when its all said and done.

theyll ask him to take a cut. if he wont take one, im not sure what we will do. i would keep him. im not sold on welker yet.
