When Ricky was running we went to the playoffs and scored more than 12 points a game. Ricky in his prime ran all over the NFL and won the rushing title with 1800 something yards. If he returns to form, and he just might; his body hasn't been beat on much for two and half years, he will get more carries. The real issue is should the Dolphins even carry both backs? Ricky has no trade value. Ronnie however could fetch a number 1 draft pick from teams like Green Bay or the Giants. It's a radical move and I don't think the Dolphins have the guts to make the move, I mean look, they can't even dump Mularkey. I love Ronnie Brown. I'm a big Ronnie fan, but I want to win. Getting another number 1 draft pick even if we have to throw in a 7 or 5 pick would give the team a shot at their choice of OT or OLB. Maybe Levi Brown or Willis or Poluzny. Personally I like Poluzny but I don't know about his knee.
If we traded Ronnie we first have to resign Sammie or sign somebody else at backup. The way our offense has performed I think it's foolish to keep both these guys. We have huge needs at the other skill positions.
