What factors will play into whether or not Fiedler and Carter will be back on the target date of Dec. 1? Will it be whether or not Fielder can throw a football or will it be whether or not he can throw sharp accurate strikes, and how are they going to be able to determine whether or not Carter is game ready?

I actually see CC coming back first. But only if he gets his act together physically. As for Jay, I'm guessing the Bears game.
And who here knows Jay's record on the first game he's came back from injury? I'll give you a hint....its not good.

I am guessing Jay will be rushed into playing ASAP unless Ray all the sudden blows up.

I guess Fiedler's basic rehab will be 10 daus after the cast came off....he'll be throwing tennis balls and stuff to regain his thumb movement...after the 10 days is football time...depending how quickly he feels fit he'll be playing.
If he stays on track with the 10 days it would be the Saturday before SD when he first throws a football again. Since he can not enter the facility on Saturdays (NFL rule) he may have to toss the ball in the backyard.,....he then would have a week of throwing the football before Buffalo.

If everything goes as planned he MAY be back for the Buffalo game.

Why would it be an NFL rule that a player can't go to the facility the day before a game? That doesn't make any sense.

I would guess that they don't want guys practicing the day before as it would be an unfair advantage. The road team is traveling that day so they can't practice.

Because it would be unfair for the visiting teams.

Saturday's is the best day for FFiB's grand facility tour...lol.

No team official is allowed in the facility.....
