Question is, do you guys think Teddy Ginn has the potential to be a gamebreaker ala Steve Smith.I don't see it yet but Cam really didn't give him a chance IMO. As this article points out he'll have the opportunity under Dan Henning calling the plays. Let's just hope so!!!

Well if you look at henning's last job in Carolina he favored the WR's over all else in the passing game. TE's rarely caught passes, and the smae with running backs. So, to answer your question,....yeah he will be much better and more featured IMO.

Will he ever be the great talent of S Smith??? Big shoes to fill, I think he will be a gamebreaker by 09 but maybe not in the same mold as Smith, but definetley a gamebreaker i think.

gamebreaker, no.... will he make some good plays, yeah most WR's do. but he's not gonna be anything great or special (at least not in his second year, most likely not his third either)...... SOOOOO much to learn and improove on

Perhaps the question should have been....will Ginn and family ever become a true receiver, for the Dolphins.

i think Ginn will do good for us with good coaching, and could be a gamebreaker with his blazing speed.

ginn is going to surprise some people, i never liked him at ohio state but he has shown flashes that he can be great, if you hook him up with a good qb ginn can be a very good receiver

and like someone said above henning does favor receivers so that helps also

Henning will use Ginn correctly in his system like he did with Smith. So yeah, Ginn can become a gamebreaker, he needs to improve but I think we will see flashes of greatness this year and in 09 a breakout season.

The Dolphins need a QB who can get him the ball, last year he played sparingly in the first half, when he did start...he had Cleo Lemon and rookie John Beck under center...NUFF SAID!!!

exactly phan, how many times was he open deep and the qb couldnt get him the ball?

Love that SIG Kippy..

Henning's play-calling has often been called conservative, unimaginative at times and occasionally puzzling. However, armchair play-callers often hang themselves up on a few unsuccessful plays. They claim he runs when he should pass and passes when he should run. Hindsight is 20/20, after all.
Love that line.

Ginn will absolutely be a big time playmaker. We all know he's fast, but his hands are much better than anticipated and he is great at gaining separation from DB's.

Ginn will be a force to be reckoned with in other teams' secondaries.
