Will Hurry Up be used more...

With the spread offense..is it possible we could see more in the way of a hurry up offense at times?

Possible..nobody knows. One this is for sure though...we better have a 2 minute offense in our playbook, unlike last year :fire:
 
You know that was Brocks specialty... Brock can run any offense under pressure.... you put him under center he's sub par or par.....but in shot gun/ hurry up he runs it.... don't know why thats just his thing.... (*please don't hit too hard)

At least we didn't suffer the embarrassment of Philly in the SB. THAT was the benchmark on how NOT to run the 2 Minute Drill.

That was painful to watch.

I cant wait to see Brock playing under shotgun...... in NFL Europe of course. :lol:
 
I doubt it. We'll use the hurry up when we have to. But I seriously doubt we'll implement it as just a regular part of the offense. We will be more wide open in comparison to the past 5 or 6 seasons, but we will still be primarily a ball control team.
 
Keep in mind. when Buffalo ran the Kgun, they had a 3 down RB in Thurman Thomas. What made it work so well is that with 1 RB and WR, you didnt know if it was going to be a pass or run cus thurman was good at both. I certainly could see us using something along those lines and linehan would be perfect. Only prob is that they cannot really implement this right now until all cuts are made cus people would get wind of it through acqquiring players we cut.
