Will I still see blackout games in NY with NFL ticket?

I live in Syracuse, NY and I've had the ticket now for 6 years and never missed a game, but now with the chances of some phins games being blacked out I'm just wondering if I will still be able to pick up the game in NY? I think the blackout only affects people in the coverage area right?

Yes. It's only blacked out if you live in the local area.

It would be either way if you tried to watch in the Miami area.(actaully they may have changed that rule in the last year or 2 but if there is a blackout those in the Miami area would definitely not see it on DirectTv either).

If you have Sunday Ticket and live out of the Miami market it will NOT be blacked out. The only time I would not see the Dolphins would be if they played the Eagles in Philadelphia and they didn't sell out.

If Miami @ Buffalo gets blacked out, that might affect you if you have the ticket or not. Im not sure if The Cuse is considered a Buffalo market.
