Will Jets fans show class and root for Penny?

Ive been readin up on a lot of jets forums and it seems that everyone is turning on mangini and favre and wishing they had ole penny back.. Do u think the fans will actually applaud for pennington sense he has been nothing but classy his whole career?

I hope pennington goes down in flames and throws 5 ints. Look, he is a really good guy but fact is he palys on our hated rivals team now. Those aren't jets fans, those are pennington fans, and trust me, there are A LOT of those.

A true jets fan would root for his team, not a player.

And ya if the dolphins knocked us out mangina would probably be fired, but more than likely pennington would screw that up also by having a horrible game so I'm just gonna stick to my normal regimen and root for my j-e-t-s.

How would rooting for the other team's QB show class?


If we cut someone and they came back and stuck it in our arse ...

well, I'd be awful pissed!

You got it right, dude. Don't ever root for the Fins. I don't want to ever see a Jets fan rooting for the Fins and I don't want to ever see a Fins fan rooting for the Jets. It's just not right!

Over the years you must have been mighty heartbroken- with a franchise record of 331-400-8 they really cannot be deemed a successful franchise.

After Favre announces his retirement Monday morning I think you might start to get 70s flashbacks because I think its the beginning of the end for what little shreds of respectablity the jets have.

I want on Gang Green as well and I never realized how much Jets fans still love Pennington. It was hilarious. They just kept talking about karma coming back to bite them in the ***.
 
I can tell you exactly what's going to happen at this game.

In the introductions, when Chad comes onto the field...half the Jets fans will give him a standing-o while the other half boos him.

When Brett comes onto the field, it will be a total boofest. Loudest boos to be heard during all the introductions.

Now, if Brett and the Jets play great...there will be thunderous applause.

But if they start stinking up the place, the boos to be heard at Brett's introduction will pale in comparison.

Personally...I want to hear boos throught the entire contest! :)
 
I still like Zach but would not root for Dallas to beat us...is about the team,not just one player.

i never in my life would be able to root for the jets unless it meant us getting into the playoffs because of them. if you are a jet fan and rooting for the dolphins this week, u obviously were never a true jet fan to begin with.
 
I believe you're asking for an oxymoronic situation. Jet Fans (mostly) & class arre not related. That's like government & intelligence.
 
Jets fans show class ? I dont see that ever happening. They wont show it but they will be kicking themselves in the ***, not to mention the entire off season will be a nightmare.....
