Although the Dolphins want to get younger, ESPN analyst and retired receiver Keyshawn Johnson, still mulling a comeback, said by phone, ''I'm pretty sure if I wanted to come to Miami, Bill Parcells would say OK.'' . . . Add Auburn defensive tackle Pat Sims and Georgia Tech linebacker Philip Wheeler to the prospects who have been invited to visit the Dolphins.

What do u think about that article and it was posted on April 13 its not old

See for your self

God i hope not. You wanna talk about "me" players. I'd take Shockey in a trade 10:1 over this clown.

Not to mention he brings nothing we don't already have. Wilford will supply everything and anything he would do for us already... and Wilford is a much more valuable signing.

If Parcells brings him in, I would lose all confidence in the new regime.:badmood:

He's old no doubt, but I seriously believe his ego would be held in check by Sparano and Parcells if he came here.

i wouldn't mind, even though i do not like him, and he was talking crap about the dolphins all year. i think bill would be able to handle him

i dont see why everyone thinks this is soooo bad. he would sign a one year deal for very little money.. and if he didnt perform he wouldnt play.. im all for this. He could prob teach everyone on the O a lil something

I dont think so. I think those rumors were circulating when Keyshawn would have filled the Dolphins need of a big physical receiver. But now that they acquired Ernest Wilford from the Jaguars, it really doesn't make sense to bring in Keys. Especially with him being out of football for a year.

I say why not sign him cheap

Reasons...
1. He knows parcells and other coaches
2. He still has little talent
3.He can teach the young recievers a lil something

In all honesty, why would we need Keyshawn? Even though I've always liked him. We have that posession WR in EARNEST WILFORD!!!! Whom is better than Keyshawn.

keyshawn at TE in passing situation... i certainly wouldn't argue with that. the guy can block too... throw him into bill's new weight routine and you might be able to make a te out of him. itd certainly be an upgrade over david martin

no we already signed wilford for that role. let me put it to you like this key got cut for a player that didnt catch a pass this year. D Jarret
