The Bengals, will probably get the pick of the litter due to their success this year. The Dolphins organization is a bit of a mess momentarily. Who would sign with us over the Bengals? Is our organization a bit of a black sheep as far as player acquisition?

weather, no state tax, and $$$ will determine where they go. (not in that order, lol)

WILL they? No

If you were a Lineman, where do you go? To a team famous for disfunction or a team that just made the AFC Championship game? Thats kind of a "no brainer".

We will directly compete with the Bengals for Lineman this year.

Agree with all that. The key is "overspend." There are quite a few holes. I think they'll fill as many as possible with quality players. If so, there's little to "overspend

The Bengals are known to be a cheap organization when it comes to giving out big contracts. I don't think that will change as long as Mike Brown is the owner regardless of their success on the field this season.

I don't think that they need to spend big bucks on the o-line. Instead of going after the high-priced elite Free Agents, I'd pick up some second tier veterans who may be a little older but are still competent. These guys would still be a huge improvement over what they had, and they can start while the young guys (and any draft picks) can learn and improve and slowly work their way into the line-up. This is what they should've done for last season; going with all youth (+ Davis) was a HUGE mistake and helped get Flores fired.
