"I’m rooting for him. But he better show early or I have no problem pulling a Zona and drafting a first round QB next year too." I agree with this line and it seems many do. But do you have faith in Miami to "do what you would do" next year at draft time.

My biggest question so far with Maimi is "will they remain realistically open to a 2020 QB?"
Rosen seems like a fair gamble if they do, but a let down if they don't. I'm not super excited about him as a final answer to a massive rebuild. I need to hear Grier say as much, but of course he would not do that.

Looks like many minds won't know what the deal is until next year this time.
My point is wether Miami's Org will do the hard move. It's not like Miami, or most teams, as we saw with Arizona this year taking a second QB.

Are these guys going to live up to people's fantasy rebuilds that they have been imagining and assuming with all the tank talk.

I think one of the biggest things that some folks are over looking is the possibility that Tua doesn't come out next year. If not and if my understanding is correct then you could have a draft class with both Tua and Trevor available.

Good points. "Assuming" Miami will carry out "what many are assuming" is a bit of a mistake at this point. I guess it's a faith in the organization question for me. Obviously faith is a bit low at this point. As is "these new guys" will get it right finally positive thinking. I only "hope" they do at this point.

My god, if they don't do this right, it will have gone off the rails before the first draft was over.
I don't believe that. Please don't put the fans through another prolonged QB development on a sub par choice.

Which would give us 2 years to evaluate Rosen...and roll over trade equity... like it!

Totally agree this is not a one year fix, we can't fix the team with one draft, but it worth the gamble with Rosen, young 22, and was the pure passer last year, let see what he can do this year if not move on for next year.

I believe if they have a high draft pick in 2020, they will draft a QB. This can’t be a Tannehill situation where they never drafted another QB to challenge him. Unless Rosen plays out of his mind this season, I see another QB joining him next year.

Very low risk, possible high reward on Rosen. No doubt they draft a QB next year if he does not work out. At the very least we have a good back up at a good price. Winning!

You seem to be putting too much faith in other people's opinions. What is going off the rails here? Miami just pulled off a great trade for a possible blue chip QB. I'm not understanding your concern at all.
