Just read the poole had another scope to clean out scar tissue. That is now two surgeries in six months. The big risk now is that this guy scars fast or badly and that could significant effect his ever playing again.

really? I thought it was a normal routine procedure. Let's all hope that he stays healthy for a real long time

I spoke to Will the other day, he said he is feeling really good. This guy Tore his ACL in May, that's 6 Months ago, an ACL is a bigger injury then 6 months, and with surgery comes scar tissue. The guy isn't going to be playing for a while, so they decided it would be best, and he has 4 months to rehabiliate. The guy was able to run on it, he just couldn't football it. Will will be fine, he's a good guy.

Thats cool that you know him, thans for the info.

the good news is that if he has to have his leg amputated, he'd still be better than reggie howard

there is no such thing as a routine scope for scar tissue, sorry to cast doubt on this but there has to be a concern about that knee

Of course any ACL injury is going to cause some concern...but the whole "there is no routine scope"...what are you a doctor???

No, his name is "Bonedoc" because it's cool and it picks up all the chicks.

Sad thought. But even putting the amputated leg out there might do better than Reggie earlier this year.

I hated him before as most on here have but when playing his natural starting CB position we all saw a significant increase in his game. I'm not sold on him, but I think he may have just had some serious confidence issues due to the way he has been handled since he's been with the team.

Scar tissue occurs naturally during the healing process. Whenever you tear any ligament there is going to be scar tissue buildup. A person might be able to walk, or run with the scar tissue buildup but if there is scar tissue growing into the joint the knee will not feel stable. Depending on how bad the injury was and how his body heals, Poole could need several follow up scopes of his knee to remove excess scar tissue and loose debris. Saban is being smart letting Poole fully heal and further injure his knee.
