will ricky get suspended

no hes not yet...rumor has it around this site that it was just an herb in a drink he was consuming for his yoga stuff in asia or wherever he is and that the appeal will be successful. hopefully that is the case because I want to see him back on the field again this year.

Hey Boomer, long time no talk. What do you think of Daunte being a fin? I was pretty shocked with how everything went down in the end. I had mixed feelings at first, but im glad with who we wound up with. whats your opinion on all of it?

Not saying that there is no room for improvement but with Ricky coming back, we are gonna be stacked on offense. Daunte being added to the equation is going to push us over the top granted that he is healthy.

now that is what I like reading...this offense is very explosive now. I just really hope DCulpepper is ready for week 1 because that would make things alot easier.

I'm glad to hear that!!

Have you heard if this is going to get resolved before the draft?

I would think since Denver didn't upgrade the rb situation that they might still want to trade for him.

Is that realistic to think, and do you think Saban may have had that in the back of his mind when he traded our 2nd for Daunte?

Hey mate.

It's an absolute steal. A Pro Bowl QB entering his prime for a 2nd rounder? Come on.....you can't argue with that. He's motivated, has a good cast and is the franchise passer we need to get Zach and JT that Superbowl before they retire.

It should be conluded pre-draft and that has been mooted, although we'll hear little because of the leagues fiasco with releasing the original 'transgression'.

I don't see Nick trading Ricky because you can't get back the value of him. A legitimate 2000 yard back for a 3rd/4th rounder, which was essentially the price........nonsense. We're a SIGNIFICANTLY improved team with him on it and Daunte has always worked well with backs out of the backfield - Mo Williams, Mewelde Moore, etc.

If our o-line improves enough for our backs and ends to get out into patterns we are going to be real hard to stop. Ronnie or Ricky in open space on a run can be pretty frightening for the db's. Notice that the tackles got lower and lower as the season progressed. The db's were watching tapes and decided an attempt to outright tackle up high could be career ending, our guys punish.

Even through all of the free agency hoopla I've been coming to Finheaven everyday hoping to see, "BREAKING NEWS: Ricky's Appeal Has Been Upheld", on the main page more than anything else. I don't know why, I just really enjoy watching him run the football. I think we're a better team with 2 good to great runners. Saban would be the laughing stock of the NFL is he traded Williams for some of the values that are posted here.
