I don't know about you but, I have much love for Ricky Williams. I want more then anything for him to stay and to continue the "Ricky & Ronnie era". This is one of the most dangerous and dynamic duo in the NFL right now.

My money is on him leaving. I'm not saying that is what I want, but I think if the right deal comes along (a mid round with a conditional early pick) he can be had.

There's hasn't been any talk thus far about him leaving, so yes he's staying.

ricky...ya know...the only one who knows is saban...

I feel the same way Dolfan3423. Ever since he's been here I loved him. I don't know if he'll be traded but if he is, it's really gonna take away alot of the exitement for me this coming season.

If Ricky is smart, he will stay....

Do I want him to stay??....YES

Will he stay??.....YES

yes. he will stay. there seems to be this feeling out there that we have 2 top running backs that we are paying full price for, like KC w/ Larry and Priest. Ricky isn't costing us a lot of money right now, and he has said he is fine at his current pay... if saban is a "value" guy, then he wouldnt need to be a rocket scientist to see that we can get great production out of ricky for very little in return.

You've pretty much hit the nail on the head. This has been said over and over on these boards yet many still haven't caught on. There is no way that Saban lets Williams go. As you said, Saban is a value guy and you certainly can't beat the small pricetag that Ricky currently carries....especially when considering the talent that he offers. Not to mention the fact that neither Ricky nor Ronnie seem to have any issues with splitting time. I guess if someone offered a first rounder for Williams THEN Saban might bite. Other than that scenario, expect Williams to be splitting time with Ronnie again next season. JMHO.

Saban said so, so i think Ricky will stay. Question is, will he continue to be happy with the little money he is earning?

I'm not really sure if i imagined that, but i think i remember him saying he is fine at his current pay... my mind plays tricks though

it all depends on what we are offered, teams w/o good running backs may offer us a good corner or quarterback for him, i think that will happen and that's the only way that he will be traded, if he stays i would like to see him line up at fullback more, he played there in college
