will ronnie brown ever be himself again?

We should place a finheaven ban on ALL of Cote's dribble. He sucks so bad

Is he insinuating that he hopes, wants, and feels, Thomas to play like a 6th rounder and he is unhappy that the team he reports on picked a great player late in the draft.... Loser

"Rookie Donald Thomas has claimed the unoccupied right guard position until which time he might start playing like the sixth-round pick he is."

what a piece of crap article.

if you want to ask that question....you could have asked it after week 7 of last year. but all of a sudden it has increased relevance because he hasn't looked dominant after 9 plays in the preseason a mere 10 months after the injury? because more rest is still a good thing at this point? because he may not be 100% on opening day. any sane person should have known any of this as soon as his injury was diagnosed.....but let's just forget all of that and try and make a news story out of it. **** that guy!!

Im not sure who Ronnie has been that is himself. He has been a decent back so hopefully he will be much more.

I think it's pretty well-accepted at this point that it takes a back two years to get over this type of injury.

Who knows how long it takes Ronnie to recover from an ACL, look at Edgerin James took him two years, Terrel Davis never got back and others have been back the next season. But as of Ronnie not being dominant in pre-season, look at Ricky Williams first preseason with the Fins in 2003. He sucked and he turned out 1853 yds

When Ronnie Brown get hurt last season, I really didnt think it was something serious, he walked off the field on his own.

It appears that Ricky can carry the load, so I say let Ronnie take all the time he wants. Would it be so terrible if Ronnie was used sparingly in the first half of the season and then turned loose in the second (when his knee is in really good shape)? I kind of thought this was one of the advantages of having two starting caliber running backs.

This article is based on 5 pre season carries:sidelol: Ronnie seems to start pretty slowly sometimes anyway. Its the offseason, its slow right now, these writers must be bored.

Seems a little premature to be asking that question.

You can quite easily walk right after a torn ACL.. I have seen ice hockey players skate hard to the bench right after tearing a knee ligament.. And have seen many players run off the field of play right after tearing it.

Just imagine the advantage we'll have using a fresh Ronnie Brown after week 10? We would have many more of those Raiders highlights.:kick:

terrible article. moronic to stir that up. why would you play your best offensive player in the preseason when he is coming off a major injury? how often does lt play in the preseason, how bout last week with fred taylor
