What does everyone think? Could it happen? If not 1500 yards, could it be his breakout season everyones been waiting for?

I think it's possible but I don't see him getting the carries to do so. I see him at around 300-320 carries and that would mean he's averaging close to 5 YPC. Cameron will certainly use Ronnie as the focal point of the offense and EVERYTHING will go through Ronnie and you can bet your bottom dollar that he's going to see A LOT more receiving yards.

I look for about 1250 rushing yards and 600 receiving yards if he plays all 16 games.

Nah, not 1500.
Cam is still shuffling people around on the line so I just dont see the holes opening up early in the season.
Maybe 1100-1200.

Just a question, are you basing that on him playing all 16? Had Ronnie played every game last year and maintained his average, he would've amassed 1248 yards. If he does stay healthy, he should be even more involved and I could see 1300 yards out of Ronnie.

He's averaged 4.2 and 4.4 yards per carry his first couple of seasons, average 4.3 between the two.

This season I'm projecting him to have between 330 and 360 carries. I'm also predicting that under Cameron's vision and guidance, the offensive line will have a bit of an up year compared with last year. That leads me to believe that Ronnie will average between 4.3 and 4.5 yards per carry, barring an obscene number of goal line carries that drag the averages down.

That brings me to projections of between 1419 and 1620 yards.

For touchdowns, I'm saying that the touchdown rates will approach those you would commonly see in a Norv Turner offense, and those offenses usually range tightly in the low 30's carries per touchdown. I have Ronnie about 34 carries per TD. That should mean between 10 and 11 rushing TDs. I would also expect him to have 2 receiving and/or throwing TDs.

So, all in all, I'd say 1400 rushing yards and 12 total TDs would be a conservative projection, 1600 rush yards and 14 total TDs a more liberal projection.

Anything significantly above or below those marks would be surprising, to me.

If we acquire Faneca in a trade with Pittsburgh, maybe, otherwise it will be tough. If our present line miraculously jells and Booker gets injured so there isn't really anyone to share carries with and if Ronnie stays healthy all year.....................nah uhah nope don't think so.

If Brown gets 1,200 yards (and up) while adding on another 5-600 recieving (as suggested by Aqua), we've got ourselves an MVP candidate ladies and gents. I'm hopefully optimistic.

The more appropiate question is will Ronnie break the single season rushing record? I say he has a great shot at doing so.

The very worst he will do this year is 1500 yards.

Please remember that I said this first. All the naysayers, ensure you have a nice fat bottle of Texas Pete....It tastes great with crow. Whether grilled, baked, broiled or fried...Texas Pete makes it taste righttt.

I hope nothing but the best for him but I would be more excited, as would he, if they made the playoffs. Heck I am sure he would not mind getting under 1000 yds if it meant a playoff bearth.

Nope...not gonna happen. Perhaps 1500 yds combined...Booker will emerge and take much of RB playing time.
