I hope that Nick and Surtain can come to agreement and keep PAt a dolphin. Isay for us to acquire more picks we have to trade down. If we keep Pat our secondary will be soo scary that teams wont throw deep and the pass rushers are soo crazyy.

We also have Howard for insurance i know he ain't great but its insurance. If I were Nick I'd keep Pat a Dolphin. :cooldude:
 
you're right, but for the wrong reasons.

our pass defense has always been nasty, but where has it taken us all these years? the fact is, we can't afford surtain... and we won't re-sign him unless he wants to take a huge pay cut. but we probably won't trade him until mid-season or after the draft, because no one wants to fork over anything significant.

We won't be trading him midseason. There is a trading deadline. We may be forced to either absorb a serious cap blow because of his roster bonus and keep him this final year and watch him leave through FA, trade him for less than we want for him, or just release him outright.
 
if we trade him i want a 2 rounder stop playin games kansas city and give it to us and if we dont get that i hope we could keep him around

I would also like to see Pat here in the future but he wants alot of money and he's getting old.However i do feel he is worth atleast a 2nd round pick.If we trade him to the chiefs for a 4th round pick that would be worst then the Feeley trade.Imo

Do you know what the trading deadline is?
 
If we don't get fair value, he'll just serve out his contract is my guess.
