i mean....all i watch is cam cameron talks about how ted ginn is "special" for them,, and how he could help in PR/KR.....never said something about beign a WR.....

i wanted him to be our number 1 wr or number 2

or 3 but......our pick 9th is only going to be a special teamer.??

what do you think...

by the way....i feel good about the draft....bcs we still have ronnie brown, vernon carey, chambers, derek hagan.....our defense......we are good people....we are very good ..

be positive

I think that was just a mistake not mentioning him as a WR. They clearly believe he can be a great WR or they wouldnt have picked him. It's as simple as that. He will go to the outside and Chambers can now move into the slot.

Ginn will do crazy things. He wont be a set wr, he'll go in and do interesting things. Thats why cameron drafted him. Expect Ginn to do the things that Bush did for the saints this year. End arounds, returns, catch some passes, run some screens, etc

Ive never seen so much garbage over something a coach didnt say in a short press statement. How bout these two possibilities......

1) Cam felt IT GOES WITHOUT SAYING that Ginn will help us at WR.

or 2) It looked like he was starting to mention it right after but got sidetracked by the sudden cheers amongst the boooing. Maybe he was just mentioning that because he didnt want fans to overlook that aspect and he assumed you all knew he was going to be one of our main receivers.

Then again assuming fans know anything is a mistake. Especially some of the ones that hang around this place. They also had to mention they might have made a mistake not dismissing Quinn earlier in the week. I dont think so. Just because the fans dont realize we could get a QB just as good or PROBABLY BETTER in round 2 and still get a big play guy at #9 they shouldnt have to worry about it. Besides if someone in the range that we still couldve gotten Ginn (10-18 or so) wouldve wanted Quinn we couldve gotten more picks out of it. However no one wanted Quinn that had a pick in that range so we had to take him then. Ive heard enough about that too. You cant trade down just because you want to. Someone has to want to give up alot to get someone in that spot. Say if Peterson falls to 9 we couldve traded Buffalo or GB and still gotten Ginn. But Peterson didnt fall and we had to take him there. Ginn is obviously the guy they wanted. Quinn blows. Get over it.

He'll score a few TD's for us at wide out, he has been brought here for his electrifying return skills and because he can stretch the field so we can open up this offense that's been closed for a very long time! He is a playmaker and has shown it at a high level in college, what did he get like 9 td receptions, he's a big time player, i feel bad cuz i rooted for Gators cuz i don't like the Buckeyes cuz of that delayed pass in ference call in the national Championship game against the Canes but when he got hurt i was like I hope he is not seriously injured but it would be nice to slow this kid down a little , it so happened he left the game after the 1st play and NOW he's our guy, please don't get hurt anymore Teddy! LOL!
