Could the Chargers have wrapped up homefield advantage by the time we play? Anyone know if Manning will be in all day long?

I've heard somewhere they are going to play half to three quarters of the game.

i hope so they did last year and they probly realise without manning there O is screwed and they cant rely on the D

It actually has nothing to do with SD... it's Baltimore and NE that Indy is worrying abt. Yes, their starters will play the whole game, and NE plays earlier than us and Baltimore plays at same time (against the Bills).
If NE wins their early game, the Colts MUST beat us to stay ahead of NE for home field, should they meet in playoffs.
Only way Colts don't play starters all game is if NE loses early game, and Baltimore is clearly blowing out the Bills. Indy can still grab #2 spot for 1st rd bye...

The Colts can't catch the Chargers, But I believe they can still end up with the 2nd seed if the Ravens lose (also a 4PM game). Having a bye week during the playoffs is a big deal so I dont think the Colts will pull their starters unless the Ravens pull away from the Bills.

Yeah, they can. The Ravens have not locked a 1st round bye yet everyone.

One serious hit on harrison or Wayne or Manning and im sure they all be pulled

No way in heck, and not even remotely possible that one hit or even injury causes them to pull the starters. They have been playing ALL YEAR for the playoffs, and home field advantage is at stake! This is HUGE, and the starters will NOT be pulled no matter what, unless the Ravens are beating Bills by 50 at halftime, and the Pat's lost earlier in the day.

They still have a chance at a first round bye so their starters will play the whole game.

I don't know, can their back-ups beat us? Seems like every team we play, their weakness is our undoing.

I wouldn't put it past the University of MARYLAND beating The Dolphins this year... We've been playing down to every bad teams level. The ONLY teams we've really blown out are Chicago and New England... Both Play-Off teams.

Thats Excluding the Detroit game where they DID play well and shut them out for 3 quarters.
