Maybe the better word is can, not will. After an impressive first half against New England to start the season, there hasn’t been much to enjoy if you’re a MiamiDolphins fan. There was the late lead against the Cleveland Browns that was squashed by awful coverage resulting in a Browns touchdown with less than 20 seconds to go. Then there was the short lead against San Diego until the secondary let Vincent Jackson walk 50 yards downfield, catch a ball, fall over, get back up, and run 20 yards to the end zone. Get the idea? Thought so. The Miami Dolphins have become near impossible to watch.

What winnable games do the Dolphins have left? There is the October 17th Monday night matchup against the Jets. Mark Sanchez has been anything but impressive and the team is in disarray. They practically gave away offseason acquisition Derrick Mason. Brandon Marshall has already expressed his interest in purposely getting ejected at halftime and injuring Bart Scott. Miami has that going for them. Denver follows that. Tim Tebow will get the nod under center with his Florida Gators National Champions team getting honored at halftime. There aren’t many opportunities for wins especially with this band of misfits. The two most realistic games the Dolphins can win are November 6th at Kansas City and November 13th when they host the Redskins. The Chiefs were handed injury after injury in the first month of the season with Jamaal Charles and Tony Moeaki both going down with season-ending injuries. Rex Grossman came back down to earth against the Eagles October 16th by throwing four picks and getting benched in the 4th quarter. Mike Shanahan hasn’t exactly handled their running back situation greatly either. He has no clear number one between Ryan Torain, Tim Hightower, or Roy Helu. My guess is if they don’t win one of those two, they will put up a donut. Did I mention their final three games are against the rest of the AFCEast? Tom Brady isn’t slowing down and the Bills are a much better team. The Jets are the Jets. Their identity may be even more confusing this year than in year’s past.
What is there for the fans to watch in the remaining 11 games? The rise of Daniel Thomas? He already has a bum hamstring. Chad Henne possibly keeping the games watchable? Out for the year. Enter Matt Moore and welcome back Sage Rosenfels. The Dolphins can maybe do something at the deadline Tuesday. Eddie Royal and Brandon Lloyd have both been made available by Denver. With the inconsistency of Kyle Orton, it appears TimTebow is where Denver will turn. Would Denver consider letting Orton go at a lesser price and would he consider leaving and working on an extension after the season? With the number one pick on their radar, is it even worth going after a quarterback halfway through the season?
With the schedule they have and the active roster they have, the head coaching search starts now and the Andrew Luck jersey pre-orders should be coming in fast and furious to online stores across the country.

they will win at least one. This team is better than the 1 and 15 team by far imo.Coaching is just as bad tho but they'll get one.

Ozzy rules!!

I'm thinking like 2-5 games.

Possible ones: Broncos, Chiefs, Jets (we will always play them tough, I figure maybe a split if we're lucky), Maybe we squeak a win out of one of the other remaining games, but it does look bleak :lol2:

The Redskins game just became a possibility with Grossman getting benched. Unless John Beck has something to say about it.

I like our chances tomorrow night. Then again, I said that when Thigpen piloted our offense against the Bears last year..Jeez.

it doesn't matter which team is better or which team is worse.

Only thing that matters is the schedule. Winnable games on the schedule.

If we got the #1 pick and beat the Jets both times we played this year for our only wins, I'd do it.

If we are guaranteed the #1 pick with only 2 wins (i doubt), then HECK YEAH both wins vs teh Jets.

hahahah the Jets tears would be amazing.

Beginning of the season I predicted a 5-11 season.. After week 2 I predicted a 2-14 season beating Denver and KC. I would love it if those 2 wins came against the Jets though

Let's beat Rex & the Jets twice and call it a season.

There was someone on here that predicted this would be one of our worst seasons, and I thought he was full it, but based on what I have seen.

This team and coaching staff have fallen short.

There were alot of people on here that thought so. It will be by far the worst since 2007 and IMO worse than 2004.

We will end up winning a few. It's pretty hard to go all year and not win but of course it can be done.

these BOARDS ARE GETTIN DEPRESSING.I have never seen so much negativity for your team to lose.I guess you need to bleed aqua and orange to want a win evey game.A number one pick is not going to guarantee a super bowl.GO FINS beat beat the jets and denver and put an end to this suck for luck nonsense.
