IMO, the market for JT will never be hotter than Saturday. You really are taking a chance if you try to move him in October. He could get off to a slow start, twist an ankle, retire, ...anything. There might be only one or two teams that would be willing to give up a pick for him, but it's the offseason so they won't want to give much. Compare that to today where we had at least three teams mentioned that we had conversations with. By doing the deal now you have teams able to jockey for position, up and down the draft board to allow for bringing in a guy like JT to their team.
Just my gut feeling, but if you are ever going to trade him, you do it Saturday. What we get in return will only go down from there.
