I dont know the exact name, but usually on a big game like this, they do a video piece on a player,showing highlights, and having some kind of voice over,and i couldnt think of a better person then daunte, to show where he was last year, and starting thursday night

Who knows, everybody has been making such a huge fuss of Palmer's comeback, where as Daunte has not been getting much love nationally. I live in Reno, Nevada and all I see on ESPN, FoxSports, etc is Carson, Carson, Carson...blah.

there's gunna be alot of talk because we are the lone two teams opening up the season so from now til sunday morning its all phins and steelers..... that said, Daunte's amazing recovery and 1st start as a phin hasta be THE story of the game, on our side atleast.

Who is covering the game by the way? I've heard it was NBC and the Sunday Night crew. But i figured since ABC had it the last several years that maybe ESPN would have it now?
My bet is that they already have one edited and lined up for Ben's miraculous auto-accident recovery. They're going to have to go back to the drawing board now.
They probably have one ready for Culpepper's return as well. However, knee surgery/moving to a new team isn't as newsworthy (in the eyes of the networks) as a young, superbowl-winning quarterback coming back from a helmetless motorcycle accident.
