Right now, our starters are Ginn and Hagan. I don't see that changing anytime soon. The third spot looks like it's going to Bess. Camarillo and Kircus continue to practice well and look like assets. That leaves Wilford.

Wilford hasn't performed in practice or in game situations. Yes, he was a free agent signee of this regime and we're going to owe him some money, but is the money a reason to keep Wilford on the roster? Can this regime admit a mistake in free agency and move past it to select the best players for the 53 man roster?

What's your opinion on the WR depth chart?

I dont know why so many people like or think Camarillo can play. Im thinking most fans like him because hes the reason we didnt go 0-16. The guy is a crap wr and nothing more than a ST guy IMO. There will be a number of guys who will be an upgrade over him after cuts. Im not going to give up on Wilford yet.

Aside from the cap ramifications, I don't see how we can close the door on Wilford at this point. He has too much experience in meaningful games to be discarded before the regular season even starts.

If he carries over this poor performance into the regular season, then that's another story.

We need his size in the red zone, especially with suspect TE's.

I agree. But will he catch it in the end zone. I'm hoping he will. I want this guy to suceed more than anything. A big reciever in the redzone will slow down some of these field goals.

I think were going to keep Ginn and Hagan as our number 1 and 2 receivers. Bess as number 3. And we will keep Wilford while I think were going to cut Kircus and Camarillo, and pick up someone off waivers.

Wilford won't get released. He may not have been the starting WR we all envisioned, but he is still the 3rd or 4th best WR on the team at this point.

Camarillo i think is the guy who ends up gone, with Kircus the 5th and Ernest Wilford probably 4th.

That's pretty pathetic for a guy who the organization brought in as a probable 1 or 2. Even though it was a mistake singing him to begin with.

Wilford gives us a dimension that none of the other receivers possess. We just need to give the guy some time. He's probably still thinking too much about the new system and that's stopping him from playing fast. I really do think he'll be a solid receiver for us this year.

What his "size"?

I guess, but the guy is too slow and drops too many passes. He's just a slower taller version of Derek Hagan, we already have THAT dimension.

I don't even think Kirkus played ther last game. Camarillo has caught everything thrown his way in both TC and games. The guy is clutch.

exactly what i was going to say. Camarillo has been dead on. I'm guessing most of you didnt watch the game saturday, or are just watching it now on NFLN for the first time. BUT Kircus was MIA, and Camarillo was a making some really nice clutch catches. We already know that he can perform when the pressure is on (ala Baltimore) which is something that is unknown from many of the other young WR, heck willford cant even perform in preseason.

Oh and the Camarillo camp diary videos on the pregame show are our version of hardknocks, so ive grown attached to the guy:up:

Again, just because Camarillo made one play last year, that doesnt make him "clutch" IMO.
