I don't think I'm alone when I say I had a REALLY hard time getting through last week. All I could think about 24hrs a day was the Jets game and could barely focus on anything else. I was so excited when the game rolled around that I almost wasn't excited anymore, if that makes sense.

And we pulled off the win. Now we're in the playoffs for the first time in seven years. Facing the same team that beat us earlier this season on our home field, and earlier this decade in the playoffs, also on our home field. Facing the spineless coach who gave us 1-15 last year and a relatively crappy draft.

That's a lengthy (and unnecessary) lead-in to my poll question:

Will this week be easier or harder for you to get through? :hi5:

I feel good! I didn't have alot of anxiety about the Jets game. And I have almost none at all for the Baltimore game. I'm really looking forward to this playoff game. Miami deserves to be there and they will be focused team ready to kick some ***! Wonderful!

I was more concerned with winning the east and beating out the pats and jests. I think mainly because it was an obtainable goal, now the superbowl on the other hand....ehhh.....i know i will have my fingers and toes crossed wishing for the best, but i have to be realistic.

Last Sundays Fins/Jets game to me was basically my Superbowl. From here on out its just gravy, if they win, i will be happier then Madonna after a Yankees game. If they loose, i will be slighty upset but satisfied that I got every inch of effort from the fins this year. Not that I deserve any.

Yea . . . honestly I feel like their is no expectations . . . just promise. So obviously I want to keep winning, but truth be told . . . this team can't dissappoint me this season. Losing against the Jest would have dissappointed me, losing against the Ravens would be a downer but we are still the AFC East Champs baby!!

Thank you. That is EXACTLY how I feel. Last week was tough this week doesn't bother me. We aren't going to the SB, so if we win this week I will be happy and if we lose I will watch the playoffs knowing we will be one of those teams soon enough but we are headed in the right direction.
I guess I would have to be one of those dreaded fans that is just happy as a tick on a lazy dog, just to be a part of the whole deal. We made it. We are once again relavent.

I agree woth previous sentiments. The Jets game was like a mini Superbowl. Not to say I don't want them to win this Sunday... But I was so worked up over just getting to this point.... this improbble point.

My original prediction was that if we went 8-8 I would've been estatic. winning the division, and hosting a playoof game is beyond my dreams. Heck I'm excited. But not nearly as nervous as last week.

Yea the Pressure is OFF for this week, and that is a good thing.

I am excited and can't wait for the game, but this week is much easier than last. Last week, I was almost sickly nervous that we would blow it, prove we were just the Dolphins of the last few years and lose everything to Jets proving that we were not the real deal.

But we did it, we proved we were legit and we deserve to be here in the playoffs.

Now I can just sit back and enjoy the hopefully not too short ride.

If we lose, I will be sad/angry/probably break something, but I will quickly recover and look back on this year as one of the best football years I can remember. (Actually the best, I can't remember before the 90s!!!

It's tough...
I honestly don't know what to think.
My entire week last week was geared to a big FU to the Jets and this week it's "We beat the Ravens with 1-15 team we can win with an 11-5 team."
So I honestly don't know what to think.
But also it's been tough since after the patriots game because it's win or go home.

Much easier, Last week was tough because all we had to do was win one game and we were in the playoffs! Plus, i went to the jets/fins game so i was amped up and I had a bad gut feeling all week, man this team continues to prove me wrong and I love it!

Having the opportunity to watch the Phins beat the Jets and keep the Pats out of the playoffs was amazing. It was one of my Top 3 all time favorite games I've ever seen the Dolphins play in (been a fan since I was 9 back in '89). Hell, it is probably my all time favorite which used to be the Thanksgiving Classic of '93. I still want to get a custom Dolphins jersey with #78 on it that reads Lett on the back.

Whatever happens in the playoffs really is icing. I know the players want to go all the way, and I know they have the heart and the talent. It'll be a very hard fight here on out. I will cheer these boys on no matter what happens, but my heart will get a break. There is no way I'll be this anxious during a game for the rest of the postseason, unless we make it to the Super Bowl.
