ESPN just did a very long and detailed report on the story of Michael Thomas. It was well written and presented.

You just cannot help but smile at this story.

The rubbing produced a natural watering of my eyes.

He consistently used phrases that described his thought processes
throughout the process of each play, and the young man sounds like he has
a solid level of intelligence for the game, and just a rounding of toughtfulness.

Stanford, go figure.

He had respect for people up and down the chain, and took his opportunity,
which nobody can fault him for.

It's a great story. Ups and downs will follow, but for one moment in his life, he
was great, and that's a hell of a ****ing thing.

I really like this young man. He's humble, hard-working and intelligent. I hope he has a long and very productive career in the NFL (solely with the Dolphins).
