Sounds like it to me. Culver, Benwikere, Rambo and possibly X Howard should all be ready to go. BTW, wth is Dion Jordan?

seriously doubt howard goes

I would think benwikere and culliver would be goes

I don't think they would start Culliver right away. This is basically his training camp and time for him to get into game shape.

Jordan is not there yet. He supposedly wants to get back but time will tell. If Howard isn't 100% sit him down. SD is playing good offensive ball and if we beat the Jets, whose front is going to test the **** out of our offensive line, that could be a pretty big game. I'd like to have Howard back by then.

It would be fantastic if Culliver, Benewikre and Rambo are upgrades. I'm not talking world beaters, just upgrades.

I was sort of surprised Benwikere didn't play last week but this will give him 2 more weeks to get up to speed.

IMHO Benwikere and Culliver are both upgrades and will eventually be starters once they learn the system. Rambo will play ST but could eventually beat out someone at S. What I love most is how Gase is cutting dead weight and creating competition at all positions.

Yes, I hate to get too high or too low on Gase at this point. These things need to shake themselves out over time (the Site was high on Philbin and Sparano at first). It seems like he's pushing all the right buttons though. Absolutely will not accept failure. It's a good trait.

I know Lippett has a ton of growth ahead of him but he is getting better. The fact he has size and is showing good growth in his CB skills means he will probably be playing a lot the rest of the season.

Been hearing a lot about Lippett getting better last few weeks on the local talk shows. If he continues the upward trend, that would really solidify our secondary when Howard gets back.

I like the moves that they are making. It's not often that a roster is better halfway through the season than it was at the beginning.

No Jordan
No Howard (I'd be surprised if he plays any time before Dec)
Benwikere will be a backup
Culiver will be a backup vs Jets, but could work his way into the Starting line up in time.
Rambo is gonna be our 4th Saftey behin Akins, but a Core ST player.

I see this as the most likely scenario

He made a few nice plays in the Bills game. He seems to be progressing.
