Honestly, I think we all know the answer to this question. However, I just wanted post this just to once again say the following: Wilford sucks.

The coming month could turn out the most important of wide receiver Ernest Wilford’s career.

Wilford’s anti-climatic return to the field Sunday after seven games on the inactive roster largely confirmed why the disappointing high-priced free agent hasn’t been involved in the Dolphins’ plans this season.

Brought in last March to play a prominent role in Miami’s passing game, Wilford struggled to get open against the Rams’ 30th-ranked defense. He ended the day with only one pass thrown his way, an incompletion.

How does a guy go from leading a team in receptions to all of a sudden not knowing how to play. Is it Wilford, or how we're using him.

Not entirely sure.. we haven't seen enough to know.. But we do know.. he won't be here next year.

Draft day is going to be HUGE next year for us...

Wilford looked funny on that special teams play. He looked too tall to be running downfield. He seemed kind of uncoordinated, kind of like a big cartoon character.

He might retire with all of that money that we gave him...

First, I'm not a fan or close friend of Wilford but I disagree with the article that he was never open.

Maybe the play was design for Bess, Ginn, Martin, London, etc..
Maybe they used him mostly as a decoy v.s St Louis.

Wilford is a riddle. I wonder if he has a nagging injury or like you say he is being used incorrectly. The guy can catch. He can run routes. I really would like to know why he is not making the grade here.

I can see him staying. Remember, Martin was supposed to leave to. Now look at him.

Martin has actually been an active player this season, whereas Wilford has been constantly working his way down the roster. To go from the #2 WR, to being inactive for practically every game is a pretty sizable drop. This regime realizes it made a mistake with Wilford.

I think people overestimated Wilford's ability. Last year he had 45 catches and 518 yards. He just isn't that good of a receiver.
