will wilford make the team?

I think depends on TE play during camp. But he might have a good shot.

I never thought this would happen to him. He was such a good receiver in Jacksonville. But lets just focus on our definite starting receivers now. Ginn, Camarillo and Bess. They are all going to greatly improve this season because they all have a little experience now:up:

I really hope so.

Joey Haynos is a weakling and the rookies don't look ready for prime.

I hope it is Fasano,Martin and Wilford with Nalbone and the other dude on the PS.

he's favored to make it for salary caps reasons... We all know if that wasn't an issue he'd already be gone -- long gone.

There is a good chance he will, because:
1. He will act as 3TE and 6WR. And, therefore, we can keep an extra OLB on the 53 roster.
2. We take a big cap hit if he goes away...it'll make more sense to wait till next yr to have him walk.

About # 1.
Never thought about it like that. Makes sense.

Aslong as we don't play him I don't care... he would have been gone already if he wouldn't cost more to drop him...

No chance. Ted Ginn Jr., Patrick Turner, Davone Bess, Greg Camarillo, and Brian Hartline are our 5 receivers. The winner of the Anthony Armstrog vs Brandon London battle will be there if we keep 6. At tight end Anthony Fasano, David Martin, Joey Haynos, and Nalbone are all over him. No chance for Wilford IMO

I actually think hes got a shot.

Joey Haynos seems to have really fallin out of love with the coaching staff.
And Nalbone has shown about as good as hands as...well...Wilford. He seems to be destined for the PS.

So Wilford has a shot as a 3rd TE, he he can learn to block.
