Was he placed on IR or are they holding out hope that he might be able to return this season?

nah he was put on the PUP list. which means he has to sit the first 6 games i believe (not positive) but he should be available to us about midseason. maybe.

Yeah, he is out for the first 6 games...after that, the Fins have 3 weeks to activate him or place him on IR...beings he had his injury so early in the offseason, it's possible he can recover...I haven't heard or read anything at all about him, except that they put him on the PUP instead of the IR list...

Yes he can return, but will he be healthy enough to play good? That will be the question once Poole does return. I don't expect him to have alot of PT this year if in fact he does return. Next year he should compete for a starting CB spot.

His comeback is going to depend on where the Dolphins are in the playoff chase in week 8. Nick will then either activate him or put him on IR.

Does anybody know around what time he was injured last year... I seem to remeber it being in the 1st or second mini-camp.

He was hurt early, but corner is one of if not the most demanding positions on the field. Will should be able to run and workout by midseason, but will he be able to make quick adjustments and cuts? Working out and covering NFL calibur WR's are totally different things and I think it might be unrealistic to think that he'll be contributing at that point. Hope I'm wrong.

I seriously doubt he'll play for us this year.

I tore my ACL in HS and came back to wrestle in 6 months, but I was a shell of my former self. The knee is not even fully healed to its normal strength yet, so he would have to wear a brace that would severely limit him at the corner postition. I just don't see it happening this year. Why risk it?

I don't think he will play for us this year because we don't want a guy returning if hes not completely healthy because he might not be as good and it might lead to another injury.

Everyones different and different severities. He wont play unless fully healed Im sure. If he is not then I could see him being the last corner on our team and get the system down so there is less of a learning curve next year.

A little off topic, but I am excited about the future CB situation with Poole and Daniels. I really liked Poole last year, and if Daniels turns out the way I think he will Miami will continue their tradition (last 6-7 years) of very good CB's. That makes a world of difference. Now if we could just get a safety that's worth a darn!!
