thx. the data set is epa/dropback over what appears to be a reasonable sample size. my point was the greats are considered great, because over a huge sample size and long period of time, they were good in clutch and late situations, including big games like playoff games and super bowls. if tua is nowhere on this list, which goes 42 players deep, it is tough to believe he is good in clutch and late situations. that happens to be consistent with what i have seen, especially against better teams in more important games (which is a bit exaggerated because often we are not even in those games so there is no clutch, sadly)!
Thus my original point in asking how many times was Tua actually in that specific situation? Without knowing that, there's no context. If it's zero or one time (it was probably more and for all I know he may have been successful once or twice. I think he has been), you can't really compare that to a QB that has had 30 chances

the chart says minimum 85 dropbacks. seems sufficient. i will give the nerds the benefit of the doubt on the sample size being sufficient because that is straightforward to figure out. having said that, i give them less benefit of the doubt on how good of a metric epa is. there are some odd names in the chart, but on balance it does not seem crazy.

The developing phenomenon of the Tua fans hating Zach Wilson for no reason should be studied.

Over 90% of this stie didn't want anything to do with Ewers before the draft.

Wilson should be the number 2 unless ewers is just so good during camp that he can’t refuse him as #2.

Let him learn a year and next year he’s #2

Will this help bring peace to FH?

I'd be pleased to make her acquaintance.

I actually did a good breakdown on another site and looked at how Tua, Jackson, Allen, Mahomes, and I think one or two more QB’s did against like teams. For example, how did Allen do against KC compared to how did Tua do against KC.

What I found was, with the exception of Mahomes, all the other QB’s played very similar to each other against like teams. There’s not some glaring difference.

What I think most people’s problem is, they look at wins and losses and attribute them to one player out of 53. Josh Allen can have a 75 PR and the Bills will win so he gets credit for the win. Tua has never really had that luxury. He needs to play perfect, or the team loses. That’s not realistic.
I found last year that when their own defenses produce no takeaways to help them, regardless of what else happens, only five quarterbacks currently playing have a winning record in such games: Mahomes, Burrow, Allen, Jackson, and Tua.

Heh well the first crash we're going to see is Tua and our beloved Tuanon. Both Ewers and Wilson will have more momentum and excitement from the fans than what they'll feel for Tua.. One of these will take the reigns and run with it. Wilson or Ewers which one will it be? A wonderful situation to have with Tua in the rear view!
Is it crack? Is that what you smoke?

It was the Hinderbergs' decent, not its ascent, that led to its big problem. - LOL
Hindenburg. Descent, not decent. The Big problem began when it caught fire right before it was to begin the descent. Of the 97 people aboard Hindenburg, 62 survived and 35 died. Capt Max Pruss was among the survivors.

Great but did the Capt have a preference between Wilson or Ewers?

The Captain claimed it didn’t matter between Ewers and Wilson, because all things Dolphins was **** as long as Ross was the owner, Grier GM and McD coach. Rumor has it that he ignited the hydrogen gas leak with pure vitriol. 🤣
