This has been one of the most enjoyable seasons I can remember... To actually look forward to sundays again, to go to sleep sunday nights with a smile on my face, To once again watch highlights and listen to sports talk radio, and not to wince when you hear some dolphin news coming up(Ricky's saga,No win season, Laughing stock of the NFL) I know I will be crushed if the phins lose this week(Deep down I won't let myself think they are going to win) but by next week I cannot be less than Thrilled on such a great season. Thanks to Parcells,Ireland,Sparano and especially the players on such a joyous season. To wake up on Christmas morning and get dolphin stuff, and to know I can wear those shirts, jerseys socks, hats, pillows cupholders THIS SUNDAY is a Christmas gift I truly cherish this year. Let the chips fall where they will this week.....in the end I will have a smile that will last till next year Win,LOse or Draw:d-day::D:hi5:

I know this is a pretty common feeling among us phin fans, I know we all want this game in the worse way, but we are not sure the team is at that point yet in its development, we would have all signed up for first place in the last week of the season to play to get in in august, so lets see what happens. A win would be a huge christmas gift for us, a loss will be very disappointing, but the team is turned around, we have a few QB'S now that can play and we get a third place schedule and a lower draft pick, plus the two picks from the redskins for JT, the one from the browns for Travis Daniels, and the one from the Panthers for Mccown, and 35 million so far under the cap

I was thinking the same thing...Not ready to win big yet but ....Lets steal one on sunday and stick it to the JETS

Win, lose, or draw and I'll still be so ecstatic about the hope for the upcoming years. A young, hungry, and talented team that has managed to build a strong foundation in just one season.

This season was a great holiday gift. Now, go Fins and get that last regular season win of 2008 :)

My hatred for the Jets is something I will have to answer for when I die.

THIS WEEKEND WE DINE IN HELL!!!!!!!!

I am like alot of fans on this site I want this game so bad but if things just don't work out I am very pleased with this season our future look really bright. I remember a few years back that the Dolphins played the Pats on christmas day and we won what a christmas present that was. Do you all remember that game he had to be within the last 5 years? My grandson asked me this morning what i wanted for christmas i told him i just want the Dolphins to win this sunday he said Me too Grandpa.

I love what this team has done, but if they lose on Sunday I'll be pissed for a while, not with the team but with loosing to the Jets.

i want THIS win in the worst way.

i didnt get fired up and homerish most of the second
half of the season because after 3-4 games, if thats
what it would have been, it was WAY better than last year
and i would have taken it as a step forward. i was GREATFUL
for every win and didnt want to get gready with expectations
of winning.

but the football gods have shined on us fin fans for sure this
season! they have lead us to this point and all i can say is that
if they wanted us here, than i want the win!! i want it bad!

the playoffs are cool, and of course i want miami there, but i
can tell you, i want this game more than anything else. we
deliver the jets there WORST nightmare scenario and probably
send farve and mansweenie to the scrap heap!!

all that money they spent. all the hope! all the taunting from
the new yawk faithful. ALL FOR NOTHING!! blown sky high by
there most hated foe and the qb they turned there back on for a
shot at the media darling.

i want it! i admit it! and i am not trying to tempt the football
gods at all, but as i say, they got us here. no one thought we
would EVER be where were at right now this season. but we are.

and there MUST be a reason for it!!

i dont want to waste it all with a loss.

but if thats the case, yes, it will hurt bad, most of all because
its the jets. but as the thread implies, win, lose or draw, this
has been one heck of a season and any dissapointment past
sunday will be short lived.
