Love it. I can't put into words how excited I am about the Dolphin's future under McCoachin'.
Nice to hear about how they separate the player from person. Gotta be able to play first and foremost. Also dug the "No condescension" note McD made. It seems safe to assume these guys will truly team up on personel.
What a great video to watch! To hear some of the process and part of the process and vision that they are sharing. How Grier is gathering input and having MM show the scouts what he's looking for in players and positions. While Grier has his flaws, hopefully by working together they get much more "hit" than "miss".

I have no idea if McDaniel will be a successful head coach but I do know that compared to the head coaches the team has had in the past two decades. He is a joy to listen to when he is being interviewed.
Hopefully he doesn’t lose than carefree attitude when the team struggles at times in the coming years, as all teams tend to do.

It was really a great video to watch and listen to what they had to say. It's hard not to get pump up listening in detail to our new coach.
Totally agree. Not that this would ever happen for me but he makes you feel like any regular guy like me could be in that position. He's very humble but yet confident and doesn’t think it's all about him which is very refreshing after our last two HC's.
I can't get over why he is not wearing anything with the Dolphins logo on it all. This was not an impromptu interview. Is the budget too low to get the man some threads? Did he choose to look like he was out for a stroll with the baby carriage through the park?
We will see how he coaches but I will not get excited about this offensive genius until results happen.

I can see him being burnt out and things become overwhelming. It’s hard with a young wife and baby girl.
