I think we should interview him for defensive coordinator. He is currently the Packers LB's coach. We all know how good the GB defense was this year (besides the playoff game) and the job he has done with some young linebackers is impressive. Also, after the disappointing 2008 season, he was the only Packers defensive coach not to be fired. That means something. Plus he is from down here, and went to the University of Miami. I think he might like the homecoming.

All sounds nice, but hopefully we go for a guy who has experience at the DC position at some level.

"Entering his 22nd season in the National Football League and fourth with the Packers, Winston Moss begins his third year in the role of assistant head coach with inside linebacker responsibilities for the first time in '09.

Named to the current post by Head Coach Mike McCarthy on Jan. 15, 2007, Moss impressed McCarthy with his leadership skills when the two worked together for five seasons in New Orleans and again in 2006 in Green Bay. The 43-year-old Moss continues to coach the linebackers as well, his original duty upon joining the Packers. His position responsibility was modified to inside linebackers this year with the switch to a 3-4 defense and the addition of outside linebackers coach Kevin Greene to the staff in 2009."

At this point, could it really hurt to take a look at him too? It seems like EVERY-freakin-body is a candidate now :p Then again, I'm sure we could do worse than Moss... We could still have Paul Pasqualoni and his oh-so-predictable schemes still in Miami
