Not sure how you're reading into this as Manning to Miami. We needed a RT regardless of who was going to be QB...this move allows us to now address our new hole at WR with the #8 overall pick.

I heard on ESPN earlier that the Redskins and Cowboys are going forward with their free agent plans regardless and hoping they can get a reversal of the NFL's order based on their belief that it will be confirmed that many other teams did the same thing. So, who knows, eventually, the NFL has to sign off on the contracts anyways so we'll see. True enough about Carey, Jerry isn't horrible, so, still a decent O-Line, better than Columbo over there lol...
