I don't like Captain Munnerlyn's lack of speed at all. He couldn't cover our wideouts to save his life last season.
What about the Schwartz kid at guard from KC? Is he still out there? I hear he is good in the run game.
I was disappointed we didn't make a play for Toby Gerhart. I've been banging the table for him.
I am on board with Breno Giacomini. However, I hear the Jets are all over him. Giacomini and Philbie overlapped in GB so its interesting that we are not going strong there (think Matt Flynn).
I am very satisfied that Randy Starks is coming back. He is a helluva player and has been for a long time. I would have liked to see Soliai come back, but realistically, the Falcons were desperate and way overpaid. I wouldn't have paid that for Soliai. I like the Earl Mitchell signing alot. He reminds me of where Starks was in 2008. He will be a nice rotational player, and his salary is very manageable especially with some of these escalators coming into the salary cap.
We are coming into a situation where we can get BPA in the draft if we round off free agency well.
