what are we going to do if Darian Barnes gets hurt and misses alot of games??? Would we try to bring Fred back, look into free agency or make a trade. Unless, you guys think when Morris comes back he can do the job. Just a little nervous about the FB positon right now. Discuss....
 
You really don't worry about your full back and that's why most teams only carry one. But if he were to go down and Beasley is still out there then I'm sure we'd bring him back in. Sammy Morris could also take over the duties and probably would because at that time, we'd have Davenport IMO.
 
I'm sure we'll add one to the roster soon. In the meantime, Justin Peele has experience lining up at FB.

Jason Radar has lined upas an H-back/FB too.
 
If you're worrying about our FB getting hurt, you should be worrying about Mare or Jones getting hurt as well. :wink:
 
Yeah, Peelle and Rader have both been getting snaps lined back in the backfield.

Well, just meaning that Darian wasn't consistent last year, and were expecting big things from Ronnie this year.

Man, I worry about all our guys getting hurt.
 
i dunno why nick cut him i honestly thought he still had a little more juice left in him... and dont worry about darian barnes getting hurt Joey Harrington has a better chance of getting hurt sitting on the bench
 
beasly is rated really good in the new madden :sidelol:, i was surprised to see him cut
 
Well, with the Suggs signing Darian has his hands full, now we have to get the O-Line healthy and strong to open holes for Ronnie.

I agree with you, but SuperSaban knows what he is doing...In saban we trust.
 
There's several options we could try if Barnes gets hurt. Other than using Morris at FB, we could go to a one back set with two TEs. A one back set with three WRs. As stated before, one of the TEs could also be used at FB/HB.
 
teams often only carry one FB, i think last year a few weeks we didnt even have an FB listed
