If we were 100% healthy I believe we win this game.

Without T Bo & Konrad I believe we win a close one.

Without T. Bo, Konrad, and Surtain, I believe we can easily lose as we can win.

But without T. Bo, Konrad, Surtain, and Howard, I just can't see us winning (but of course always hold out hope as a fan).

I mean, without these guys are we not losing big parts of our run blocking (Konrad), run stuffing (T. Bo), and pass stopping (Surtain & Howard). And if you can't run, or stop the running and passing game yourself, what are our chances? AJ playing Marino-like and winning in a shootout? Not likely.

I know this is a downer of a post, but these injuries are starting to weigh on my hopes? How 'bout you guys?

P.S. I know Howard is not ruled out completely yet, but he still did not partake in full practice on Friday. Oh, and let's not forget Minor and Morris are out as well. :nono:

I would've been doubtful anyway. Until this team shows me something I'm gonna be doubtful every week from now on.

NO!!! Our defense is still about 50 times better without those guys than the Jets defense was last week. And Miami's Offense will surprise......... Just Wait and see!!!!

That's what i like to see!! :D optimism!... I'm with ya outlaw. I too think Feeley and Gordon will have a much better day with all 4 quarters to play. And yes, even with those injuries, Miami' dee is better than the Jerks dee anyway.

Lets go FINS!!!

It can be done, I think at one point early in the season New England had something like 10 starters out. Even if Miami does lose this game ITS NOT THE END OF THE WORLD, as long as they play well, show improvement along the offensive line, in the passing game, and cut down on penalties and turn overs I will be happy. The Oline is already playing better, let Gordon and Feeley get used to starting and get Macintosh back in there and then see what happens. The important thing is to be playing well at mid season and beyond.

Sure I'm concerned. We could well lose this game. These injuries, combined with the new/inexperience factor on offense, are some big obstacles to overcome. But like was said above, it's not the end of the world if we lose this game. This isn't like some favorite losing two games. We're SUPPOSED to lose these games. So even if we don't come out on top, we can still be ok as long as we're showing improvement and making some big plays.

But it might well be the end of our playoff dreams.
Even with a loss this week we're still 0-0 in the division.

The bungals have far more problems with their secondary and they are confident. Over confident for the most part. We are still a very good football team. People will just have to step it up. I for one, think they will.

P.S. I also think Howrard will play. The other three (5 if you count the M & M boys) won't.

Losing the Titans game was painful, as any loss is, but the good that came out of it (getting AJ a chance and him showing some spark) helped.

Now, healthy? Phins should not just win, but dominate the game. With the injuries I think it may now be the offense that has to win the game. Giving how poorly the Bengals play the run, I'm hoping to see a lot of Gordon, and then play-action and deep to Chambers/Booker/McMicheal.

It is a 50/50 thing in my mind right now.

By the way, anyone seen D. Thompson? He was the invisible man last game, right? Anyone really believe he is going to show up this game? It would be nice, given that he really earned a ticket out of town last season -yet got another chance.

adversity can make a team come together, we have a rebuilt team on offense and in spite of injuries enough depth on D.
The key is not to have /develop low morale.
If we show improvement and see Gordon being a good pick up and Feeley delivering a solid performance, win or loose it has to be a step forward otherwise call it a day.
This is when coaching makes the difference.
