You think that means we are going WR with the first pick? Whether it be Nicks, Heyward-Bey, Maclin etc.

With Green being signed, I see him being our #2 for a year or so until the CB we draft this year, whoever it is, is ready to play at a high level.

With Green being signed today here is how I see our first 4 picks going.

1. WR
2a. CB
2b. OLB
3. CB

Thoughts?

We will pick BPA in the first round. We have no glaring needs. Sure, we need a CB, but we could just as easily grab one in R2. Had we not signed Green, we probably would have had to take one in R1, even if it meant reaching and passing on a guy rated higher on our board. Something tells me the first pick will be an OLB or ILB. Perhaps it's Parcells' history, but I just dont see WR or CB being the first pick.

I don't think Greens signing has any effect on the Dolphins draft plans.

Personally I think we will go BPA, but for those saying we dont have any glaring needs I have been saying since the season ended Miami would go OLB. Miami wants to be able to get to the QB more. Porter last year had a great year, but besides Porter we had no one else. Roth and Anderson are both backups and you dont know what we are getting with Wake. Miami signed Wake with the idea that we could eventually replace Porter. The only way I say Miami going another position is if JT were to come back and that does not appear to happening.

If Brian Cushing were to fall they would be all over him. Clay Matthews is also a possibility There is Mock Drafts that have us taking Larry english. Mayock has us taking Connon Barwin. Miami has also shown alot of interest in Michael Johnson, Cody Brown and Robert Ayers. I still have not seen a Mock Draft that does not have us taking an OLB.

Here is a little tidbit, Parcells is not one to take WR very early in the Draft. Torry Holt will be released sometime next week or by the end of this week and I could see Miami inquiring.

That depends on who is available. If Vontae Davis, Malcolm Jenkins, or Darius Butler were available; I would draft them over a WR but I know this will be unlikely.

No offense, but Darius Butler is supposed to go in the second round.

I think Vontae Davis, Alphonso Smith and Darius Butler will all be there at 25.

I believe Alphonso Smith will, but not the other two...BUT, if they are....I would love that. So who would you take? I would go with Davis, because I like physical corners.

I really like Sean Smith, but I think he could be taken with the 44th pick in the second round. In the first Darius Butler

BPA but if their not real satisfied with that position then they might look offense!!!!!

DEFENSE,DEFENSE,DEFENSE!!!!
