Daryl Williams, Panthers: Listed as the best available remaining tackle by Rotoworld, Williams is expected to draw interest from the Giants and Bills, among others. He’s an excellent player and just 26 years old. So why wasn’t Williams the top right tackle on this market? He appeared in just one game last season due to a torn MCL and dislocated kneecap.

Kendall Lamm, Texans: Should be a man in demand after a breakout season in 2018. Lamm, undrafted out of Appalachian State in 2015, started more games last year (13) than his previous three seasons combined (11). Texans coach Bill O’Brien last fall called Lamm. the former practice squad player, “one of the most improved guys that we’ve had since we’ve been here,”

Jermey Parnell, Jaguars: If the Dolphins decide on a one-year stop-gap at the position, Parnell makes sense. Cut by the Jaguars last week, Parnell would provide the Dolphins a serviceable — if not sustainable — option. Pro Football Focus ranked the 32-year-old 51st out of 80 qualifying tackles last year.

Mike Remmers, Vikings: Almost two years to the day after signing Remmers to five-year, $3o million contract, Minnesota released him. Remmers struggled after moving to guard in 2018, a position he had never played before. Plus, he dealt with a pesky high-ankle sprain early in the year. A healthy offseason and a return to right tackles should help.

Other options: Jared Veldheer, Broncos; Ty Nsekhe, Redskins; Joe Barksdale, Cardinals; Jordan Mills, Bills.

williams would be a could get depending on contract, but moving davis outside would work also. i just dont want to draft an ot in the first with all that dl talent

Crazy what James got. He's hurt a lot too if I remember right.

No reason to sign anyone unless they were cut. Don’t screw up comp picks. If you’re going to tank do it right.
Was thinking the same thing. On the other hand Gase is at it again spending big with the jets. They're getting Mosley for 85mill with 51mill guaranteed

So, out of that list, Parnell.

Watched him in Dallas. Was a good athlete for his size and a good all around blocker. Left for the payday in Jax.
Haven't followed his play since.

Tanking for a QB sure isn't going to fix this mess.

And Remmers right? Maybe a move back to RT will do his justice. He's only 29. A Remmers/Jesse Davis battle on 1 year deals?

why is our line getting so much worse when Ja'Wuan was only average? We're gonna kick Jesse Davis outside, or sign someone, and then like draft a 2nd or 3rd round OG/C. I am actually excited that we didnt fall for the trap.

No high-priced free Agents with prior injuries. This year we should try to move down in the 1st round and pickup another top 100. With that pick we get our RT or Guard.

I warned everyone the Jets will be good regardless of what anyone thinks about Gase. And they still have the #3 pick. But anyway , who cares? The best way to tank is to go 0-6 in your division and things are looking good as of now.

The plan has to be to move down and get another 1st next year not more picks this year.

More picks this year allows us to rebuild the trenches on both sides. We will likely be picking top 10 next year and should have the ammunition to trade up if required. Personally, I would prefer our lines have a year of experience together before we draft our future QB.

Only solution is to draft really well in terms of trench players next couple of years. Line will be garbage next year. Just how it’s gonna be.
