If they have a shot to get Cooper or Parker. I hope they keep Wallace and do this too. Offense would be insane.

Gibson and Hartline would be obvious cuts. This would significantly impact the team moreso than drafting a LB, CB, DT, or lineman.

The bottom line is a first round WR is hit or miss in the first year versus a veteran. So if Cooper or Parker are still there I'm trading down and drafting DGB. He has more upside and we need a big red zone target!

Jeff is that you?

Parker is 6'3. Plenty big.

He's only the highest risk player in the Draft. 0% chance that we bet the house on DGB in the 1st round. He has natural talent but he's riddled with substance abuse, violent domestic abuse issues and lacked the mental aptitude and discipline to apply himself in college (and he doesn't know how to run routes), but yes, he's a big red zone target.
Can you seriously see Joe with his coaching career at risk, asking Hickey and Tannenbaum to draft a guy who was kicked out of college and didn't play last season because of multiple major character issues? He may be good but he's extremely high risk.
If the top WRs are gone, we still need a big DT, a good CB and a mike LB.

You DO NOT pass on Cooper or Parker. That is the same chicken sh*t thinking that has us clammoring for a WR in the first place.

DT, WR, ILB or best-freak-beast-guaranteed-impact athlete available.

I want DGB....if the Patriots get him, should he drop to #32, Brady will have the second coming of Randy Moss to throw to, and we will be left wondering why they always outsmart everyone.

That's half the reason I want to draft him! If he did fall to them and he DID turn out well, Brady could be around till he's 50! We can't have that. Sometimes it's not what you have, it's what they don't have.

I am leaning DT right now. Receiver class is deep.

I'm leaning DT as well. I believe all 3 WR's will be gone as will Waynes. I also think because of the run on WR's the OT's will be pushed back. As much as the idea depresses me, I believe BPA will be OT at 14.

We MUST find a CB somewhere too. We have NOTHING opposite of Grimes.

Remember, Albert won't be ready by training camp. So we will need an OT too.

I'm with you. I think we need to load up on offense and give Tannehill the best chance to succeed. We can focus on defense next year after all the old dudes are gone and we have a new regime in place.

More upside? How exactly does DGB have more upside than cooper or parker ?

The ONLY thing he has on those guys is height. Theyre better than him at EVERYTHING else ... Including life .
