Our supposed "playmakers" haven't been getting it done... Welker has been the most consistent receiver followed by Booker, Chambers and McMichael are NOT getting it done! What is the problem, are they not as good as we thought?

It is obvious that this team still needs playmakers and I don't know if it's all on the QB. Although Sage was HORRIBLE!

Zach has emerged as the genuine leader of this team, hopefully he'll only maybe miss a game. Saban has got to get him some help in the secondary...

Qb completed what 8 passes yesterday? I will agree McMike and Chambers haven't been lights out or even consistent but The Qb situation has been a big problem for a couple of years. Fieldler sucked, Feeley sucked, Gus Sucks and Sage is just not good at all.

Zach HAS been the leader on this team for a while now. He is injured and someone will have to step up I am interested to see who that will be.

i think depth chart wise it would be derrick pope who will replace him

Last Monday Saban said he wasn't happy with the lose to NE but he was happy with the progress the teams is making, getting better each week. Did I miss something somewhere Sunday, because I don't consider Sunday's performance as an improvement?

How much better would Feeley have been with our current running game and the improved pass protection? No one will ever know.
Fact is Frerotte has been one of the least sacked QB's in the league and he has had time to throw ( a luxury Feeley never had).

Feeley would not have been any better IMO. I'm not a feeley lover or hater, and not a Frerotte lover or hater. (I think they are both backup QBs in this league). I am saying that our record would be the same with either one of those guys. This team shows no fire! Receivers are not catching the ball. Doesn't matter who throws it.

Our recievers do not fight for the ball, period!

Welker seems to be well overrated... he muffed 2 punts vs the pats last week and a few more earlier in the season. Good returners don't miss that many in 1 year. And as a reciever he's a good #3/crappy #2 at best. He's too short for a reciever =p

That's EXACTLY the case!! CC doesn't go for the ball he waits until it comes to him!! Considering how much $$$$ he makes he should be leaping to the sky!!

I have never seen an entire receiving core play so poorly... They abosolutely suck... I dont care what anyone say... Chambers, Booker, and McMike just don't have the fight... concentration, or the.....Mojo!...

Sage Starting = team quiting.

The players knew that Gus wasnt hurt enough not to start, they know that Saban just wanted to start Sage to see what he had. Personally I think that is why the team quit.

Zach is not a leader. Leaders get people to follow and no one is following. Zach is good. We need new leaders on this team. If Zach is the leader he is not good enough a leader.

I really don't think Chambers can compete with the best corners in the league. We need a better #1 reciever. Then we put Chambers at #2 he gets much less double coverage and he hopefully produces. Booker is getting old... McMike is an above average tight end. The 1 pass he missed vs the Browns was a rocket thrown behind him from about 7 yards away. Why doesn't gus throw that ball a little softer?? Hard to catch a ball thrown behind you that fast and that close.

ALL of them would look much better with a decent QB =(

You've gotta be kidding me! Stop bringing up Feeley! He was awul, he lost his backup job to Sage. Yes, that Sage that we saw yesterday.
