With The 1st pick in 2006 Indy selects....

Like I said last night. Notice that we won the only game that slightly resembles reg season (game 3 is often called dressed rehearsal). Game planning, play calling etc. were specifically for Tampa and we looked much better. That's the one you want to win if there is only one, so it might still be a profitable year.

And Tampa spanked Houston last night.

Look guys don't get completely down on the Phins this year I realize that we may not have as good of a team as the Colts do but the preseason means absolutely nothing. The Colts didn't even win a game this preseason, does that mean they are going to have the number one pick in the draft. NO. I'm just tired of reading that it's going to be another long season, and that we aren't any good and stuff like that. Just wait until about week 10 to find out how our season is going to go.

:yeahthat:

I'm just looking for the Fins to improve this year, I'd just be happy if we perform better then last year.
Would I like to see us go all the way and win the Super Bowl? Hell yeah! But I'm not gonna get all distraught in the first season (or in the preseason for that matter) under Saban just because we only won one game in the preseason.

It seems like a lot of people are wanting a quick fix and have no patience.

Sure the quarterback situation is screwed up and our O-Line is not the best in the league, but it's gonna take time to rectify. Despite the problems that we still have, I don't think I've ever been as excited about a new season as I am this year. With all the changes were made during the offseason, I'm looking to this season as a start of a whole new era. We may not become champs overnight (unless my wishes comes true of course), but I'm sure we'll get there sooner than later. Until then, we should all just enjoy and watch our team develop into Super Bowl Champs again.

1) Indy played 5 games this preseason, most others played 4.
2) Peyton is 15th on the passing yards chart in the AFC. He also has 4 TDs and 1 INT. He also has less passing yardage than Gus, AJ, and Sage.
3) Marvin had 83 yards receiving, and doesn't even appear on the WR stat page for the AFC
4) Edge only rushed 17 times for 54 yards ALL preseason. again, doesn't even appear on the AFC stat page, much less the complete NFL page.

where do you get your stats?
i was referring to the colts team stats
