WOODY---guard or center?

Our Center of the future is McKinney
 
Woody moved to OG from C because he had trouble with the shotgun snap. If he can master it then I say C but if not then let McKinney play Center.

IMO Mckinney is a better athlete and can get out on the secondary blocks quicker.
 
And didnt Mckinney move back and forth cuz he coudlnt handle calling out the protections?
 
mckinney was not able to make all the line calls last year, but the coaches feel he will be able to this year.
 
True! But that comes with experience. Wanny's tendency to rotate players in and out hurts the unit more than it helps. QB's learn to read D's through repetition. Same is true of most things in life.
 
Guard. From everything I've seen or read, Woody has problems with the shotgun snaps. Let Mckinney start at center or look at Jake Grove if you have 2 1st rounders(likely).
 
Why waste a pick on another center when we would have two already?

Woody was a pro-bowl center. If we pay him big money, it should be for playing center, not guard. How hard can it be to learn to shot-gun snap? If worse comes to worse, have them switch positions when we go to shot-gun formation. ;)
