We got tore up and if it wasnt for the two kick off returns and the Taylor fumble recovery TD.. We would have been major embarassssssssed!!!

I've celebrated the win and the sweep, but now its time to come back down to earth and realize our defense sucks, specially against the pass and our offense still needs receivers that can get seperation..
 
Dude get it together, you got a lot of what ifs in your post.
I guess we could have thrown 3 deep Td's on offense too, what if we did that.
That's football, bottom line, we have found a way, one way or another, over the last 3 weeks to score 30 points. Once, could be lucky, twice, got think about it, three times not luck but a pattern.
This team is finding a way to put up points, now we need to find a way to close.
I am giving credit where it is due, we swept the Jets....bottom line!
On to the Patriots, 1 more big W and we are again back in the race!!

The pass D is a joke, if we play like that against the Pats we're going to lose by 30.
I don't know what it is about this team that causes it to completely collapse like a cheap tent at the end of games either. To me, we really lucked out to win the game at the end due to piss poor execution by the Jets O. Sanchez had all day to throw on that last drive, we need to find a pass rush somehow. Where's Cameron Wake?
 
We beat them, and at the end of the day that is all that matters. Yes we do have a lot of work to do, especially on the defensive side of the ball. The offense was below average today, but I think that was more of them just having a bad day and not a true reflection. Since Henne took over, this offense has been on fire and today was their worst performance only putting up 9 points(FG and TD with missed extra point). I think the offense will be fine, just thank God that Ted Ginn woke up on special teams.

I am worried about the defense, primarily the secondary, but we all have agree that we expected this a bit. When you start two rookies at cornerback, you have to expect some bumps along the way.
 
I agree to a point, but we aren't normally going to see defenses like the Jets every week. Also, Henne is just in his third game...

Look to the future...if you are looking at the product on the field right now, it leaves a lot to be desired. But, if you look at what we have as a base to build on...we are doing OK.

But yeah...we got lucky...period.
 
We did sweep the jets but for now let's not talk about the glaring issues we need to fix before we go to New England.
 
How crappy is it to come here bad mouthing after a win. Dude!! We won IN NY. We did have the one TD drive. We did have the JT TD. We did have the drive that got us the FG. and we held their league leading running game to nearly nothing. Yes we have issues in pass defense and the passing game, but here is a clue for you...the Jets rank at the top of the league in stopping the run!!! RELAX!!

Try just enjoying the win.

No defense? dude, your pathetic. defense scored 6 points. how many did sexy rexy's jets D get?
 
win is a win. Special teams is football too. End of story. We already proved we can beat them the 'tradition' way.

They suck and were overrated.

Precisely b/c they were 2 KO returns, a fumble return and a muffed punt the offense only had 3 second half possessions. The last of which when they were trying to protect the lead. I understand it wasn't pretty today but they're were'n t many opportunities and a few questionable play calls. Loved the draw to Ricky on 3rd and 10 on the TD drive. He put a lick on their DB #25.
Definitely need to protect better on 3rd down blitzes.

Yeah cause the Saints, who have arguably the best passing offense in the NFL, beat us by 30.
